New Apartment Decor: Hamlet Edition
I'm so excited to share some pieces that I just added to the "living" area of my bedroom that I'm really thrilled about.
As you probably know if you follow me on Snapchat, interior design is a big passion of mine, and I spend a lot of my free time shopping around for ideas and new additions to my home. It's definitely hard with a full time schedule, and I feel like I'm starting to miss out on some good finds. When I heard of a new way to discover and buy product on the go, a
text message based service called Hamlet, I was definitely intrigued, and checked it out.
Basically, you just text the number [646-586-2260] and one of their designers personally responds and asks you a few questions about what you're looking for. Like always, I never have a clear idea of what I want, so I sent them a photo of my room and asked their opinion on how to change it up. I also gave my budget: up to $200. My stylist sent over a few ideas (three photos per) and we settled on this classic white garden stool, pictured above.
The option I liked was only about $80 so I asked for her thoughts on something to top it off. She sent me photos of the most amazing paper mache gold and white bowls. I fell in love, so I got two: one small, and one large for my other end table.
The total came out to just under $180, and I was really pleased with my decisions. Both items give an authentic, warm touch to the space. It's safe to say gold has taken over the top spot for my favorite metallic. Hamlet is an easy way to discover new decor ideas and
products. Plus, it makes ordering an easy, on-the-go process. Overall the experience was fantastic and I plan on using Hamlet as one of my first go-to spots for decor.
What do you think of the update?
